Healing by creating – POEM

Facing and experiencing challenges are part of being a human. We can’t control them. We can only control how we react to them. We can either allow them to destroy us or we can transfer the energy into something creative. I don’t consider myself a poet but the following poem wanted to be expressed. 🙂

The Sacrificial Lamb

by Petra Juhászová

There she comes – joyful and beaming with love,

Trusting herself and trusting him, just as much.

There she goes – not knowing what more is to come.

Not really seeing the trap, what’s awaiting further ahead.

There she comes joyful and beaming with love.

Her soul woke up, her fire got lit up.

There she goes – not knowing what more is to come.

Little she knew then that he was in pain, just as much.

There she goes joyful and beaming with love.

Her heart got pierced and battered.

There she goes – not knowing what more is to come.

The pain was numbing and shattered.

There she goes joyful and beaming with love.

And the Dark Night of the Soul comes.

There she goes – not knowing what more is to come.

But her soul knows she’s not alone.

There she goes joyful and beaming with love.

By hurting her, he hurt himself more.

There she goes – not knowing what more is to come.

She closed her eyes and trusted her gut.

There she comes joyful and beaming with love.

She is standing taller than ever before.

There she goes – not knowing what more is to come.

She understands now, that his heart was locked up.

There she comes joyful and beaming with love.

His heart is opening and her heart knows this much.

There she goes – not knowing what more is to come.

But she trusts her gut that a change will come.
